In March Inspiralia held its second International Advisory Board meeting at Torre Espacio in Madrid. Among other things the challenges for SMEs to conducting business in and through the US where discusses.

Amongst our five International Advisory Board members is Ray García, the managing director of Buoyant Capital, NYC, USA, a global peer advisory think tank addressing the growth challenges of small to medium-sized enterprises.

With his over 25 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur, as company CTO and co-founder of four venture-backed companies we were excited to have his participation to help guide the next stage of Inspiralia’s global business development.

We have recently initiated additional funding opportunities for small and medium-sized European companies with a USA entity or those willing to establish one as part of accessing non-dilutive capital through the US Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.  The SBIR program is an analogous non-dilutive capital source to the EU H2020 SME Instrument which Inspiralia has been very successful in accessing for its customers.

Conducting business in and through the US is challenging but with our International Advisory Board we have worked through the entire process and are well prepared to help our clients.  In addition to his books on entrepreneurship, in 2015, Ray Garcia published the book “Launch a Global Business: A Guidebook for SME Internationalization – Small to Medium Enterprises are accessing the global markets via New York City” which is available on all major online bookseller’s websites.
