Boosting young people’s skills through training and mentoring

“I promise not to disappoint you. Succeeding in this training assures by life, safety and independence”, she writes….

Youth employability is a global challenge

The story of our godchild Tenin – a girl that lives in Mali (West Africa). She could not finish her basic school education and we are happy that she is now attending a training to become a hairdresser. This is part of our program sponsor through M27. As youth employability is a global challenge taking action requires doing something.

Young people all over the world are facing challenges when trying to find work and transition to independence. 71 million young people worldwide are unemployed. Those without parental care or coming from families at risk of breakdown have an even harder time finding a job.

Testimonials from Tenin

“Nothing is easy in this world today, but i will work for it, whenever the oportunity arises i will go there. Thank you for your constant and invaluable support.”

We will continue working to promote the employability of young people through these sponsorship programs that support young people to help them prepare for the labour market and increase their employment prospects.
