The 2019 enerTIC Awards expert commission announced this week the selected finalists. These prestigious awards are handed out to the most innovative, energy efficient technology solutions of the digital era.

Since 2013, enerTIC reward innovative technological projects carried out by companies and organizations that are committed to energy efficiency and sustainability. Public and private organizations submitted their applications to 22 categories, including Smart Cities, Smart Energy, Smart Industry 4.0, Smart IT Infrastructure, International Projects, Horizon Europe Projects, and Innovative Startups.

On September 12, a Commission of Experts evaluated more than 130 projects submitted and chose the finalists for each category. The selection process was based on several aspects: technology level, the usability of Information and Communication Technologies, impact on the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions, applicability in other organizations/environments, etc.

The voting period will be open to the public from October 1 until November 15 on the official website. Your votes will decide the winners, which will be announced on December 12 during the Official Award Ceremony that will be held at the Secretary of State for Digital Advancement in Madrid.

All finalist projects will be showcased in the VIII Smart Energy Reference Guide: “Technology for the improvement of Energy Efficiency” that will be presented at the 2019 enerTIC Awards ceremony.
